IMPORTANCE OF THE STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT MODEL FOR PEOPLE IN ORGANIZATIONS

The present work seeks to demonstrate the importance of the use of a strategic people management model by organizations. In general, with the advent of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), more and more organizations need to be supportive of change and orchestrating in-house staff. A research was carried out in academic repositories in search of scientific articles that corroborate the effective use of the strategic management of people in the organizations. Some of the main difficulties identified as research results were competitiveness and turnover, that is, the turnover of personnel within the company. As a conclusion, it is reported that the problems in retaining internal staff makes it even more necessary to use the strategic personnel management models by companies, showing that internal policies without management end up making it difficult for the employee to stay in the company and generating in any way intellectual or financial damages to the organization.
