Abstract

Here, it is presented a general context about the university's principles and goals and their relationship with humanistic formation in its origin and in the current context. Finally, through the 2005 and 2012 study plans analysis of the Architecture, Urbanism and Arts of the National University of Engineering, the intention is to obtain information and relevant data concerning the humanities situation within the context of an architect's formation which has been proposed at that faculty.
