Abstract

We differentiate the concept support, from the assistance and resource allocation within systematic interventions with the purpose to produce changes in the lives of the disabled. This differentiation emerges as necessary, after systematize a definition of support in 2008 and implemented at many South American institutions, to guide the clinical work.
