Abstract

With the wider spread of digital information and communication technologies,
multiple and complex practices, which encompass the use of language in the digital
environment. Therefore, it is required reflecting on the teaching of the Portuguese
language that contemplates the social practices of use of this new language.
Objective: Carrying out an integrative literature review to understand how digital
technologies in the teaching of Portuguese language in the early years of elementary
school can contribute to the learning of languages used in the digital environment.
Materials and methods: It was carried out a search for references in the databases
of CAPES Periodicals and Google Scholar in September 2022. Results: It was found
eight papers in the qualitative synthesis, and from the data analysis it was possible
to verify that when it was used or produced the digital technologies in a traditional
perspective of language, they contribute little to the learning of the multiple
languages that take place in the digital environment.
