ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY PRACTICES: AN ANALYSIS IN THE GRAPHIC INDUSTRY OF SOBRAL – CE

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the instruments or sustainable practices used by printers, through a
case study carried out in Sobral - CE. The study has a qualitative nature, and through a semistructured script, two employees were heard, respectively responsible for the Human and
Organizational Development sector for work safety. In this context, the study brings results that point
to the adoption of sustainability practices aimed at environmental protection, use of renewable
resources, eco-efficiency, solid waste management and environmental risk, concluding that the
adoption of these practices brings benefits such as social legitimacy and reduction of costs.
