INFLUENCES IDENTIFIED N A PROFISSIONAL SCHOOL OF ADOLESCENTS AND A COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Abstract
The objective of the article is to identify influences on the choice of this professional by students in
the 3rd year of high school, in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was based on a qualitative research,
using semi-structured alterations. Data were obtained based on content analysis. The categories
were organized into: professional choice, student-school relationship, and mental health. The
existence of expectations was identified for the professional choice to bring together personal and family interests. The relationship with the school environment was a factor that potentially interferes
with feelings and emotions. This period of preparation for higher education encompasses anxiogenic
factors, as it involves expectations, dreams, desires, insecurities, indecisions.
