TECHNICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL EVALUATION OF CHEMISTRY TEACHERS REGARDING THE METHODOLOGIES AND MATERIALS USED IN CHEMISTRY TEACHING FOR STUDENTS WITH VISUAL IMPAIRMENT
Abstract
This research is an investigation at the master's level, named: didactic resources for teaching
molecular geometry to blind students in inclusive classes, under the Graduate Program in Science
Teaching and Mathematics Education, at the State University of Paraíba (PPGECEM-UEPB). For the
development of this study, an evaluation of the didactic proposal was carried out, and the Chemistry
teachers, who used the proposal and the didactic materials, made their contributions through their
professional experiences in order to point out their considerations about the entire proposal and
materials. The results showed that blind and sighted students showed significant interest in
understanding the content covered, some teachers perceived greater autonomy on the part of blind
students in the use of tools in content development and, consequently, great affection among all.
