THE CONTRIBUTION OF VISUAL ARTS WITH HIPERATIVE CHILDREN FOR SIGNIFICANT LEARNING: A CASE STUDY

This paper presents a case study about the contribution of the visual arts to hyperactive children for meaningful learning, with the aim of reporting the visual arts as tools that will contribute to the development of hyperactive children for meaningful learning. The methodology of this case study was a field research, being qualitative and with quantitative data, followed by interview and questionnaires performed with a coordinator and a teacher of the fundamental I, a student with ADHD and his mother. Having as results and conclusions the aggressiveness and lack of attention were points that needed to be reviewed as a starting point for a new discovery and for a greater advance in learning, seeking in the visual arts a contribution to the amelioration of the symptoms of ADHD, helping in the concentration of lessons, serving as a bridge to a pleasurable and meaningful learning.
