THE IMPORTANCE OF PLAY ACTIVITIES IN THE CHILD UNIVERSE

Abstract

Games, toys and games are essential to the children's universe, but the aforementioned article whose theme, the importance of playful activities in the universe of early childhood education. It intends to investigate how playfulness contributes to the development and construction of knowledge in early childhood education. The methodology used for this work was bibliographic and field, through consultation with authors who already have knowledge in this area, as well as documentary records, scientific articles, among others. Regarding field research, the use of a technique of unsystematic observation (no rules exist). The research had a quantitative and qualitative approach, starting from the application of questionnaires, consisting of objective and subjective questions for the staff involved (managers, teachers and parents), the results were analyzed by experts. The descriptive, interpretive criterion was adopted for the analysis of the field research. It was observed that the school components that were part of this research have a relevant understanding regarding the importance of working the playful more precisely in early childhood education. Regarding parents, it was found that the lack of knowledge in favor of the subject, however, recognized the importance of this resource in the development and construction of knowledge. However, the lack of information on the subject studied leads many parents not to believe in their relevance. Obviously it was concluded that through playful activities, the child communicates with himself and the world in which he is inserted, learns to respect others, obeys commands, establishes satisfactory relationships with the environment, acquired knowledge, developing intellectually.
