The general objective of the research was to determine the quality of work life perceived by the administrative staff of three public universities, according to their type of hiring, indicating what are the factors that affect their work areas, to know their quality of work life for generate areas of opportunity and determine their competitive advantages. Based on a descriptive statistical methodology, the quantitative research, non-experimental type, of correlational scope was carried out, using a 34-reagent quality of work life instrument, which refers to the perception that the worker has of the conditions of his position of work. The sample was not probabilistic, of 62 administrative workers from three public universities located in the city of Navojoa, Sonora, Mexico. An analysis of variance (ANOVA) was performed, where it was observed that there are highly significant statistical differences; Comparative analysis that yielded a p-value of 0.006, much lower than 0.01 associated with a 95% reliability. In an inferential way and under a standard statistical method such as the t-test was observed, a significance less than 0.01 (p-value = 0.000) and a reliability of more than 95%, that 8 there are highly significant differences between the quality of work life of the administrative staff of the public universities analyzed, according to their type of contract, because the difference between the two modalities is statistically different from zero. The administrative workers felt that the quality of work life in general is 8.0887 points, valued on a Likert scale, justified perception with the result of the analysis made to the benefits and benefits enjoyed by the employees of these universities described in the collective contracts of work, determining that university 1 contains 35 actions for the benefit of its employees, 2: 17, and 3: 26.
