TEACHING PERFORMANCE: HOW DOES IT INFLUENCE THE ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE OF STUDENTS?

This research consisted in a study on the teacher’s performance level and its possible influence in the upper school student’s academic performance. The methodology to which this research obeys has a qualitative design, it pretends to demonstrate through data collection techniques the teacher’s pedagogy and administrative aspects observance; observation sheets, interviews, surveys, teacher’s training on the institution’s demands were developed as a part of the process. The research, objective of this article has both a theorical and a practical part. The information obtained was tabulated in Excel then presented in graphics in order to facilitate the visual comprehension. The end result stablished that the teacher’s performance does not affect the student’s academic performance.
