OPTIMIZATION OF DEVELOPMENT AND PSYCHO-CORRECTION OF SOCIAL EXPECTATIONS OF STUDENTS OF FOREIGN PHILOLOGY

The aim of the study is to optimize the development and psycho-correction of the social expectations of the subjects; definition of the relationship of the psychological content parameters of social expectations with the indicators of subjective control, sense of life orientations, the motivational sphere of future teachers of foreign philology. The research is conducted in three stages: the recording, forming and control. At the qualifying stage, questionnaires LSE, LSC, PIL, and LPS were used. The most significant interrelation of the investigated parameters was established. At the formative stage a special course “Social expectations: theory and practice” was introduced. Experimental (n=15) and control groups (n=17) were student groups of future teachers of Spanish philology. The control stage confirmed the significant positive changes in the parameters: the awareness of the expected course of events (.004**; p≤.01), the expected attitude to participants in interpersonal interaction (.008**; p≤.01), expected performance (.018**; p≤.01) and the level of social expectations of the subjects (.001**; p≤.01). The effectiveness of the developed program has been experimentally confirmed and ways of improvement and development perspectives have been proposed.
