Educación Financiera Y El Fortalecimiento De La Confianza Institucional En El Marco Normativo Ecuatoriano

Resumen

Este estudio examinó el impacto de la educación financiera y el nivel socioeconómico (NSE) en la percepción del marco normativo financiero en la clase media de Guayaquil, Ecuador. Se adoptó un enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental y transversal, con una muestra de 123 participantes seleccionados por conveniencia. Los datos se recolectaron mediante un cuestionario validado de 15 ítems en escala Likert y se analizaron a través de modelos de ecuaciones estructurales por mínimos cuadrados parciales (SEM-PLS). Los resultados evidenciaron que la educación financiera ejerce un efecto positivo y significativo en la percepción del marco normativo, explicando el 54.8% de su variabilidad. En contraste, el NSE presentó un efecto negativo, lo que refleja cómo las desigualdades socioeconómicas limitan la confianza en las regulaciones. La interacción entre ambas variables no resultó significativa (p = 0.490), lo que sugiere que la educación financiera mantiene un efecto directo independientemente del nivel socioeconómico. Estos hallazgos resaltan la importancia de implementar programas de educación financiera accesibles y sostenibles, capaces de fortalecer la confianza en las instituciones y promover la inclusión económica. Se recomienda que futuras investigaciones utilicen muestras más amplias y diseños longitudinales para evaluar el impacto de estas variables en diferentes contextos sociales y territoriales.
