Abstract

This research presents a qualitative approach, considering the importance of understanding and interpretation, from the perceptions and opinions of the teachers involved, that has as objective to assess the contribution of the study workshops to develop their socio-emotional skills and what the states and socioemotional demands experienced more frequently during their performance in the development of their subject of practice at the University of Playa Ancha, Chile. During the development of the workshops and at the end of the process, the perceptions of the participants were collected, who are teachers who are responsible for the Integrated Training Workshops Practice in the first and second halves of the various university teaching careers. The results relate to aspects such as the characteristics of the educational task, shortcomings and difficulties, requirements for teacher training and the role of the university in its relationship with educational institutions and the importance and satisfaction with the work done.
