PROFILE OF THE ENTREPRENEURIAL LEADERSHIP OF THE INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING STUDENT: AN EXPLORATORY STUDY IN THE VENEZUELAN CONTEXT

Entrepreneurship is situated as one of the engines of the development of society; its conceptualization has been the subject of reasonable debates; however, its measure is still an incipient activity. The objective of this work is to present the profile ofthe entrepreneurial leadership of Industrial Engineering students. A Review of the state of knowledge on entrepreneurship is carried out, and a scale is identified to measure entrepreneurial leadership. This scale is adapted to the Venezuelan context, resulting in its valid and reliable application. By means of Factor Analysis, determine the entrepreneurial leadership profile of the Industrial Engineering student in this case study, remaining qualified by five (05) factors, namely: 1) Creation and management of Teams, 2), 3) Development and Launch of new products, 4) Opportunity Analysis, and 5) Leadership. The model can be used in other contexts, previous adequacy.
