Adolescence often presents lifestyles associated with the enjoyment of leisure, with recreational drug use that poses a risk in the development of early addictions. The family and its educational styles acquire an important socio-educational role and influence their socialization and risk behaviors. This descriptive-interpretive research analyzes the models of family education and forms of leisure in adolescents in drug addiction treatment. 37 questionnaires were made to 19 adolescents and 18 fathers/mothers participating in an association for drug treatment. The results show having fun with friends as the main reason for consumption (94.7%), where family free time is hardly shared, there is a lack of socio-communicative skills and high conflict. Authoritarian (42.1% adolescents, 38.9% families) and negligent (21.1% adolescents, 16.7% families) educational models stand out. However, it is necessary to implement socio-educational policies that improve family education and promote healthy lifestyles.
