Abstract

The present work aimed to identify the potentials and limitations pointed out by teaching managers,
and coordinators of the Service Centers for People with Specific Disabilities Needs (NAPNEs), in
attendance to students of Special Education of public students from Special Education in Professional
Education at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio de Janeiro (IFRJ).
Methodologically, we used participant research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. As
instruments, we used a bibliographic survey, analysis of documentary collections, interviews with
teaching managers and questionnaire to NAPNEs coordinators. For data analysis we used the
content analysis method. And the results of the research showed that the IFRJ NAPNEs revealed
themselves with a great potential to act with the Special Education public, articulating and promoting
inclusive daily actions on their campuses.
