DEVELOPMENT IN THE LAST THREE BRAZILIAN CONSTITUTIONS
Abstract
As it is possible to evaluate in the last three Brazilian Constitutions (Federal Constitution of 1988,
Constitutional Amendment n°1 of 1969 and Brazilian Constitution of 1967), there is a crescent
preoccupation of the State to make public policy abut development. This preoccupation is ever since
of extreme value for a country must oversee its populations’ well being in order to search the best
public service that can be offered – development is a clear path to that goal.
