POSTHUMANIMO IN THE CINEMA SHOW
Abstract
The aim of this work is to carry out a scrutiny to expose at least ten films where posthumanism
appears as a concept, with more or less depth or success. We will also show the different
posthumanist points in each one of them and in what way some the themes are exposed. The
conclusions derived from the study indicate the vision of cinema based on certain works made by
the film industry and exhibited in cinemas. Some of the films are very substantials in the 20th century,
they have lost their correlation with reality, while others have proven to be prophetic. It becomes
evident then, that the expressive capacity of this genre (sci-fi cinema) manages to exorcise the fears
of humanity when facing the future, morality or ethics.
