EDUCATIONAL INCLUSION OF TWINS WITH ASD IN ORDINARY EDUCATIVE CENTERS: A SINGLE CASE STUDY
Abstract
The following work presents an analysis where both differences and similarities between six years
old monozygotic twins with Autism Spectrum Disorder are described. Educated in an ordinary school
with an “Open Classroom” specialized in this kind of student we wanted to approach to this new
inclusive project. In order to get it, we have used a qualitative based on the study of unique case.
People with Autism Spectrum Disorder show a series of special features which, in a way, have
created a stereotype which doesn’t concur with reality, because as its name suggests, it represents
a wide spectrum. We have considered that the analysis of differences and similarities of both
individuals could help us to understand in a better way the already stated disorder, as well as the
challenge set out when working with this kind of student.
