TECHNOLOGICAL POLITICAL ARTICULATION FOR EVALUATION OF GENDER EQUALITY IN COVID-19 TIMES. CNDH ATLAS OF EQUALITY AND HUMAN RIGHTS

Abstract

In 2019 the National Commission on Human Rights, in collaboration with the College of Geography
of the Faculty of Philosophy of UNAM, made available to the public the Atlas of Equality and Human
Rights (SIG-AIDH) composed of a set of georeferenced variables to enforce the General Law on
Equality between Women and Men (LGIMH), in the period 2006-2018, derived from this Atlas was
published Atlas of Equality and Human Rights, Mapping inequality in Mexico. This work highlights the
evaluation of gender equality as a technological-political articulation, based on the analysis of theAtlas of Equality and Human Rights of the National Commission on Human Rights, an approach
carried out from feminist geographies, the gender perspective and the intersection category, their
conjunction and application.
