Abstract

It is crucial to have teachers able to mediate the teaching-learning process, promoting this dialogue
by inserting the understanding between Neuroscience and Education, being a fundamental stage of
the brain development in infancy. The purpose of this study was to carry out an integrative literature
review in order to analyze the relationship between Neuroscience and Education, promoting the
reflection-action of teachers based on the understanding of the development and learning process. It
was made a survey for references in the Google Scholar and Journals CAPES databases in
September 2020. The search allowed the identification of five articles that met the established criteria.
60% of the articles mentioned the importance of infancy for learning and human development, where
they indicate the need for knowledge among teachers and aspects related to neurodevelopment and
learning., While the other 40% show prevalence in the belief of neuromyth, damaging their
educational practices.
