FOR A NEW PERSPECTIVE OF THE HUMAN RIGHTS OF ELDERLY PEOPLE IN CONTEMPORANEITY

Abstract

Based on the theoretical framework of the effectiveness of rights, through qualitative research, with
an exploratory profile, based on bibliographic and documentary review techniques, we seek to
analyze the understanding of the scope of the human rights of the elderly, as well as the the need to
incorporate Conventions into international instruments and to include them in the legal system of the
countries that make up the American continent, as well as Brazil, with the adoption of effective and
integrating public policies to protect this category of postulates.
