DISTRIBUTION OF INCOME ACCORDING TO THE PRODUCTIVE SECTORS IN THE INHABITANTS OF THE CITY OF BABAHOYO, ECUADOR

The income is a necessary resource in homes because through this are met needs that the human being has during his life, this analysis can be considered from four perspectives that are: Sectorial, Space, Functional, Personal, from these parameters this This research focuses and aims to determine the income of the inhabitants of the economically active population (EAP) of the city of Babahoyo from the sectoral aspect, that is, according to the productive activities in which they work, in order to establish which of the activities produce higher and lower incomes for families, considering that this canton is characterized as an agricultural area. The methodology used in this research is of a bibliographic and statistical nature, since the analysis of the data was based on economic theories of different authors, the statistical study was based on surveys of a specific sample of the population of the city. As a conclusion of this work, it was determined that there is a high concentration of income in the commerce sector, being this an agricultural city, the results were different from what is expected with respect to the reality of the productive sector.
