The objective is to analyze the relationship between dispositional variables (IEPA) and contextual variables (AYES) with training management (GF) in higher education of the National University of Chimborazo (UNACH). The content has the introductory part that explains the problem and objective, theoretical foundations, methodology, results and discussion. We worked with quantitative methodology, the research design is non-experimental and cross-sectional, due to its depth, the research is descriptive and the analytical method - synthetic. The procedure was to apply the IEPA, AYES and GF questionnaires to a sample of 369 students divided into 4 strata, one for each faculty. As results found, the correlation between the factors of the dispositional and contextual variables with those of training management is significant and of considerable level to a large extent; This does not occur in the correlation of age with the same factors, the older they are, the less they score in interest, progression and effort in the studies, the correlation is negative; age does not correlate significantly with the other factors. It is concluded that within the framework of training management, procedures should be designed to always use diagnoses as a basis for continuous improvement.
