DEMOCRACY AND POLITICAL CULTURE
Keywords:
Democracy, Political Culture, Change, Interest, Participation, TocquevilleAbstract
Democratic political culture is an extremely ambiguous concept that requires explanation. To this end we have tried to explore the ideal concept of democracy and that of citizens, as well as their practice; by observing both the internal theoretical conflict of concepts, as well as the mobility and change that define the respective behaviors of both realities, we have concluded that a democratic political culture cannot exist in a substantive way, and that the only guarantee of The survival that democracies materially have as political systems is to transform the target citizens of the action of their institutions and their norms into effective Democrats, for which the only condition is to urge them to make the greatest possible use of the political space both in their Public life with in your private life
