HEALTHY LIFESTYLES IN NURSING PROFESSIONALS AND THEIR INFLUENCE ON THE QUALITY OF ATTENTION: RESULTS OF THE PILOT PHASE

Personal habits are the ones that determine lifestyles being of these, the healthy ones that can mark the adequate performance of all the professionals, currently the lack of the implementation of healthy habits that contribute to self-care is observed, due to the conditions Workplaces that are increasingly strenuous, analyze the personal habits used by the nursing professional will lead to changes that also allow their own well-being. To identify the Healthy Lifestyles of the nursing professional and their influence in the work context, recognizing eating habits, physical and recreational activity and adherence to toxic habits. The research is quantitative, cross-sectional, descriptive type with the application of an instrument validated by an expert committee. The data was analyzed using the Excel statistical package. In the alimentary habits, 60% of the professional personnel of nursing consume food outside their domicile, 80% consume from 1 to 3 times per week juices and / or soft drinks and 40% need a commitment or personal motivation to improve your diet 80% do not rest enough and 60% have suffered from sleep disorders, and 60% indicate that they do not perform physical activity. In relation to toxic habits, 40% of the surveyed personnel self-medicate, 20% consume alcohol. Conclusions, The lifestyles of the nursing professional are subject to their eating habits, the practice of physical activity and / or addictions to toxic habits.
