Revista Inclusiones Updates its Guidelines for Keywords: Greater Visibility and Reach for Your Articles!

To strengthen the visibility of the articles published in Revista Inclusiones and align with current trends in digital optimization, we have updated the section related to keyword selection in our publication guidelines.

Previously, the selection of keywords was restricted exclusively to terms from the UNESCO Thesaurus or other recognized thesauri. From now on, authors will be able to combine this practice with the inclusion of terms relevant to search engine optimization (SEO).

What Does This Change Mean?

• Greater Flexibility: Authors can complement keywords selected from the thesaurus with terms reflecting current trends in searches related to their research topic.
• SEO Optimization: We encourage the use of digital tools such as Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, or similar platforms to identify keywords that enhance the online reach of articles.
• Collaborative Review: The journal may suggest adjustments to the proposed keywords in coordination with the authors to maximize the academic and digital impact of the article.

6.- After the abstract, a list of three to five keywords must be included, preferably selected from the UNESCO Thesaurus (http://databases.unesco.org/thessp/) or another recognized thesaurus. Additionally, it is recommended to consider terms relevant to search engine optimization (SEO) and reflective of current trends in the subject matter. The journal may suggest adjustments to maximize the visibility of the article.
