FAIR TRADE AS A GLOBAL MOVEMENT: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW OF LITERATURE

Fair trade is a global movement of association and commercial cooperation, based on communication, transparency and respect, which seeks greater equity in international trade, contributing to sustainability in the best conditions of trade and the guarantee of rights of involved groups. The activities of research in commerce, have been involved in different areas of knowledge, from anthropology, economics, and in general, human and social sciences, to basic or exact sciences, such as mathematics, chemistry or agricultural science; an encounter that has given space to sustainability as an amalgam of this convergence. Thus, the objective of this research is to present a systematic review of fair trade literature, framed in sustainability, present itself as an alternative for the development of the economy at a global level.
